Night Owl

Okay BIG BIG BIG pressure!

I get an email from the designer from Night Owl asking if I would do a trade for pics and I was feeling a little confident and said sure.

Then Trisha the designer says I LOVE your little girl and I am a photographer.......

My stomach drops.........

Trisha is not only an awesome designer but a photographer. She runs Trisha Renee Images.

I was like why me????

She said she had just recently moved and did not know any little girls in her area and kept seeing pics of Stella Marie and thought she would ask me....
 I was just soooo excited.

I was like ooohhhh no!!! I can't do this.

Well I got the dress over a week ago before we headed to the ocean with our niece that was out visiting.

Our niece left Monday and I had gotten some cool shoes etc. to go with the dress and got all excited to take pics today but.....

Like only in WA it was raining . We got a break and I dressed her up and we headed outside.

I just got some new hats in from Princy N Paris too!

I can not wait to use them for more pics.

Well Trisha gave her thumbs up!!!! YAY!

I really LOVE taking pics of this little girl!

She starts preschool on Thursday!

She is sooo excited but I wish she would stay little and with me forever!!!

Nexty

Hey guys just a little update!

I know I used to post my resales on my blog but I am trying to do it on FB through Nexty.

So if you want to know what I have for resale for now you will have to go there.

If that bothers anyone let me know but a friend started it and it is a great way to post your Etsy resales.

Gracie and Woobie Wear

I took my first ever pics of someone other than Stella Marie today!

The sweet little girl was introduced to me by my friend and our family photographer Willow.

Gracie got picked to model Woobie Wear for Trendy Tween Magazine.

She really is sooo excited about the modeling process it just makes you smile.

I put her in Forty Toes Clothing and a Kirra's Boutique tutu for the pics.

I think they turned out really cute.

Forty Toes and Ruffle Pants

Okay guys this is my attempt at making ruffle pants with knit!!!

My machine kept wanting to eat the material.

It might be the new needle I bought!

But these pants are tooooooo cute!

They are almost like a skirt but not!

The top was totally Evy Tree inspired.

I LOVE the hair flower from Lillianna  Marie Designs!

I am going to practice on one more pair before I list the set in the shop.

But I plan to have a couple versions up soon. I plan on using the knit ruffle pants for Stella Marie's PJ's this winter.

So you will be seeing lots more of them.

Amazing Gracie and Woobie Wear

I have a chance to take pics of Stella Marie in a Woobie Wear headband and flower for Trendy Tween Magazine.

I was not at all sure what to put with it.

But I thought how about my new Amazing Gracie resale win off of EBAY!

I think it worked.

I am not sure which ones to send.

I took some with this other dress as well. I can not remember who made this black dress though!

The hard part for me is deciding which ones to send!!!

By the way who knows if the pics will even get used but boy it feels like a huge blessing!

Ritchie Rags

I told you guys about the Ritchie Rags doll this week. I think it is the cutest thing I have ever seen!

Stella Marie is in LOVE.

I still can not believe Ritchie Rags has asked me to photograph more of their clothes...

It is soooo exciting.

I tried to bring a sucker but that was a bust. She would not stop licking it!

I am still so new to this photography thing sooo the sun can be a problem for me. I never realize when I am out there that the shadow is on the face or half on it etc. sooo today was not my easiest shoot.

It is sooo hard not to be critical of yourself. Or is it just me???

Pretty in Purple

I spend all this time preparing for pics driving to a new spot etc and sometimes the pics never even turn out.

Well today I threw on our new dress from Zozobugbaby and an old pair of knit pants from Sweet Birdie and told Stella Marie to run outside to take a few pics and I think they turned out sooo cute.

I wanted to see how the headband and flower turned out.

I was asked to make hair pieces for Twendy Tween Magazine for a photo shoot they are doing with my fav

This is one of the 6 pieces I am sending them.

Plus I am finally figuring out how to work Photo shop.

Poor Stella Marie has inherited the Anderson dark circles under her eyes and I have finally figured out how to make them go away!

This picture taking thing has sooo many things to learn.

The headband is listed in my store Forty Toes Clothing.

Kanoodle Kids and Jessie Girl Clothing

I was sooooo happy to be asked to take photos for Kanoodles Kids! She will be teaming up with
Fleur l'enfant in the fall so this set is not available yet but let me tell you it is gorgeous!

This will not be making  it's way into my resale pile! It is soft and delicate and is heirloom quality!

I hope someday to see pics of my Granddaughter in it!

I plan to take some more pics in it tomorrow at a historical site!

I really could not imagine pairing it with anything else but Eden's Bouquet!

I also took some holiday pics for  Jessie Girl Clothing too!

This is my second time getting to photograph for her and I can not say how exciting that is to have someone come back for more pics!

Amelie Jo

I LOVE Etsy for sooo many reasons but nothing is better than finding a special designer and that is what happened to me.

I used to search Etsy endlessly looking for the next most original outfit for Stella Marie but with the photography, store and raising four kids I have not had time.

The other day I saw this cool write up on Fabulous Finds for Amelie Jo.

She had a sale and I could not resist.

She reminds me of my all time favorite Eden's Bouquet.

Well I got my order and LOVED it! Everything fit perfect and runs true to size with room so no need to order up.

It was packaged great and came in record time.

I left her a note about how impressed I was on her FB page.

I get an email asking if I do photography that she has not had anyone photograph this dress yet and she thinks my baby girl is darling and she would love to have a diverse little model in her shop!

I was soooooo happy and ran out to take pics the next day!

I even brought my first props to a shoot!

The rocking chair was mine from long ago. The clock was my Grandmother Sylvia's and the Teddy Bear was from my husband when we were dating. We call him Henry!

Today was one of the first times I felt like I had taken some quality shots. I don't know but it feels like it!

Here are a couple pics of the boys modeling too.

Dylan

Ronnie on the move.

I would say go check Amelie Jo out before she realizes she can charge much more. I promise you will not be disappoint. She is one of those gems that you know will be doing big things as a designer!
