She is a strong and beautiful woman who is now raising her sons on her own. Daddy passed last year and it's been a very sad and trying year. After my husband joined the military only a month after our wedding (over 9 yrs ago) due to my husbands deployments, school, field events, motorcycle accident, ect. We've never had the opportunity to take a family vacation. He has only been home for part of 2 summers in 12 years. To be given a chance to win is a blessing within itself!! ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, I know there are so many less fortunate people than I, and probably more deserving of this trip than I, but I would like to go for several reasons...My youngest daughter wants to become an Animator for Disney. My kids are almost all grown now. I won a trip to Disney when my oldest was almost one. It's the first theme park I ever went to when I was a child. It is the only contest I've ever seen being given out for five, instead of four. I love Disney. It's fun. It is a chance in a lifetime. I am a child of God and blessed. I am thankful for the opportunity to enter. Okay, now I need to stop, because I could just go on and on.
I would love to be able to take my kids to Disneyland for the first time for our first real family vacation in 10 years of marriage. Plus I want to be able to keep my promise to go to my kids who have been trying hard to save every bit they can so we go.
