Anyone that knows me knows I have such a HARD time keeping secrets!
So when Kristine from Art and Soul By Bercot confided in me a couple months ago that she was going to retire was a HARD one to hold onto!
I was in shock and selfishly sad!
I have learned so much from this sweet woman over the years!
But I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY for her!

Some of my most cherished memories come from my experiences as the
designer of my first line Bercot for girls and boys and most recently
Art and Soul Boutique, a studio collection of limited silhouettes for
women and girls. Seeing such lovely ladies of all ages in my designs,
working with talented staff and, most importantly, the friendships
formed during my time here have added so much to my life. So it is with
both joy and a little teary nostalgia, that I announce that Art and Soul
Boutique will be transferring ownership as of July 15, 2013.
I am excited to be moving into a new chapter in my life, knowing that Art and Soul Boutique will continue to carry on with the same passionate dedication of providing our customers with a quality product made in the USA, superb customer service, and beauty in all we create.
Amanda, Art and Soul’s new owner, reminds me so much of myself! Each of us have three boys and one girl, have sewn since we were little…and even have the same stubby fingers! Although this is new news to most of you Amanda has been working with me behind the scenes for quite some time. She is as passionate as I am about our craft and desires to please each and every customer with products and service that exceeds ones expectations.
I knew within a short amount of time of working with her, that great things would continue to happen and grow under her direction in the years ahead. I will now be the one working behind the scenes to help and guide her as needed. All the rest of the Art and Soul Boutique team will be staying to continue with Amanda in the new larger studio. Amanda would love to hear about your favorite must have Art and Soul Boutique pieces and the new ones you wish to own, so please share.
A great deal of excitement and activity will be going on at Art and Soul Boutique in the next two weeks. We will be having site-wide markdowns on past collections and flash sales you won’t want to miss. Please feel free to reminisce with us by sending, tagging or posting photos of your favorite Art and Soul and Bercot pieces throughout the years.
Parting is such sweet sorrow for me, but I know that it is really just the beginning for Art and Soul Boutique in so many ways. I want to personally thank everyone for the love and support that they have showered on my business over the last 25 years. You all have meant so much to me!
